Research shows that a child's tendency to be either more analytical or more creative is influenced by which side of his brain is utilized more in terms of processing information, problem-solving and thinking in general. A left-brained child, for example, will usually lean more towards detailed, logical, complex thought processes. His right-brained peer is more likely to see the bigger picture and also to be more socially-orientated, with more developed language skills.
