1.	You're watching TV with your six-year-old after school, and suddenly an ad featuring a seminude couple in bed comes on. Your child is obviously intrigued. You... Quickly flip the channel before he asks any embarrassing questions. Say something about how irresponsible it is to have these types of scenes on in the afternoon. Ask your child what he thinks about what you both just saw.
2.	Your four-year-old sees a pregnant woman on the street and asks how she got that way. You tell her... The stork/God/Mother Nature is bringing her a brand-new baby. That a man's sperm unites with a woman's egg and causes life to begin (then wait and see if your child has more questions). That she's pregnant because she had sex with a man.
3.	Your l5-year-old hears yet another rehash of the story about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. He asks, "Why are people making such a big deal about this?" Your reaction: You get upset and explain the concept of sexual harassment. You get upset and tell him about fidelity, sexual harassment and why an employer should never have sex with an employee. You ask him why he thinks it's not a big deal, then share your values and explain why you have them.
4.	You catch your l3-year-old boy downloading porn from the Internet. You... Respect his privacy and pretend you didn't see what you saw. Sit down and ask him what he is looking at and why those pictures interest him. Pull the plug out of the wall and/or remove the computer from his room.
5.	Your preteen daughter tells you that some boy snapped her bra strap at school. You... Tell her to report the boy to the school authorities and/or give the boy a good smack if he does it again. Explain why she is entitled to her privacy and to having her boundaries respected. Explain that the boy probably doesn't mean anything by it and tell her not to get upset unless he gets more aggressive.
