Ring the person up straight away and have it out on the phone.
Put down in writing why you are cross.
Wait until the next time you meet that person and have it out then.

A public figure you dislike apparently does something that puts that person in a good light. How do you respond?

Say to yourself, ‘Lets see what happens’.
Say to yourself that it’s a flash in the pan.
Admit to yourself that you are pleasantly surprised.

You are on holiday. It is raining when it is supposed to be sunny. How do you respond?

Moan until the cows come home to whoever will listen.
Write cards home saying that it is lovely weather for the ducks.
Find things to do where the rain does not spoil your pleasure.
 
8.
Someone persists in calling you by a name you would rather not be called by, like a nickname you once had and thought you had lost. How do you respond?

Treat the whole thing as childish.
Make remarks the other person can hear without addressing her directly.
Call that person to her face by a name you know she would rather not be called.
