Let her share her thoughts but don't let it affect your relationship. Dump the person you're seeing immediately. Carefully consider her objections and take a more critical look at your date.
2.	You are with your mom when you see a watch you've wanted to buy for some time. As you pick it up to look, she makes a face and shakes her head ''no'' What do you do? Say nothing and vow to buy it later. Ask her which watches she likes and get one of those. Point out something that she's wearing that you don't care for. Buy three of them and make a mental note to give her one for her birthday. Put it down for now, maybe it's not right for you. You'll bring back a friend later to get another opinion.
3.	Your mom calls your office while your boss is talking to you. Do you pick up the phone? I let it go to voice mail, but check messages as soon as I can. Of course, it could be important!
