If I had made advance plans to keep a good friend company while babysitting and then a person I had a crush on asked me out for the same night, I would: tell the date I was busy and take a rain check. make the date and hope my friend would understand. call up my friend, explain the situation, and, if I found my friend still wanted to see me, turn down the date.
4.	When it comes to being confidential with my best friend: I never breathe a word of the secrets told to me. there have been a few times when I let other people in on a secret told to me. we don't tell each other secrets.
